Therapy Fees
Cancellation Policy
One of Time to Talk’s goals is to provide excellent care to each patient in a timely manner.Any appointments missed, late cancelled , or changed without the appropiate notice time will incur the following charges:
- There is no cancellation fee for sessions cancelled 48 hours priort to appointment.
- A cancellation fee of 50% is applicable to cancellations made within 48 to 24 hours of appointment.
- 100% cancellation fee is applicable to cancellations made on the day of appointment.
Autism Assessment
An Autism or ASD assessment is a multi-disciplinary assessment which includes three-four appointments and a full report as follows:
- Parent Interview :The Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised (ADI-R)
- Teacher Interview
- Playschool/ School Observation
- Play Based Multidisciplinary Assessment with your child:Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS)
- Feedback appointment
Some children will also require a cognitive and daily living skills assessment .
Please note , for some children additional assessments may be recommended before reaching a diagnostic conclusion.
Payments
Please note that sessions must be paid for on the day of the appointment.
Speech and language fees for children are tax deductible. Revenue offer 20% refund on speech and language therapy fees. It can be claimed back either through: myAccount (for PAYE) or ROS (for self employed).
Health Insurance
A number of health insurance plans now provide cover for Speech and Language Therapy, including Laya and VHI. Please check with your health insurer for details and cover. It is possible to combine your health insurance and tax refund by claiming tax relief on monies paid in excess of that covered by health insurer.
